Krung Thai Bank Public Company Limited began its operation on 14 March 1966 through the merger of business between the Agricultural Bank Limited and the Provincial Bank Limited with the Ministry of Finance as its major shareholder. The bank was then named Krung Thai Bank Limited and enjoyed the juristic person status of a state enterprise, attached to the Ministry of Finance. Krung Thai Bank does not only the Bank provide financial assistance to many businesses, large and small, it also renders financial assistance to other state enterprises, both business oriented and public utility types. Currently the bank is operating 640 domestic and 6 foreign branches and representative offices. |
