United Overseas Bank Limited
(UOB) has officially opened its new branch premises in Bandar Seri Begawan,
Negara Brunei Darussalam, on 1 October 2005. With the opening of the new
branch premises, UOB Brunei, which began operations in 1974, marks an
important milestone in its history.
At its new and bigger premises, UOB Bandar Seri Begawan Branch continues to
provide a full range of banking services. This includes deposit-taking,
remittances, trade services, corporate and consumer loans, and foreign
exchange.
The new banking hall also
boasts a customer waiting area and customer service stations to enhance the
banking experience of customers. In addition, customers will find the new
branch location more convenient as more parking lots are available, right at
the doorsteps of the branch.

Besides commercial banking, which includes
deposit taking, the provision of cheque services and lending, UOB may
also carry on any other business which is regulated or authorized by
Brunei Currency and Monetary Board, including financial advisory services, insurance broking and
capital market services. |
