Perbadanan Tabung Amanah
Islam Brunei (TAIB) was established under Perbadanan Tabung Amanah Islam
Brunei Cap 163. TAIB was officially launched by His Majesty Sultan Haji
Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaullah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali
Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Negara
Brunei Darussalam, the Present Monarch who is also the Supreme Executive
Authority of the Country on the 29th September 1991.
The launching of TAIB marked a new beginning for Brunei Darussalam as TAIB
was the first Financial Institution that conducted all its activities in
accordance with Islamic faith. Since its establishment TAIB has two
subsidiary companies which are Insurans Islam TAIB Sendirian Berhad (Takaful/Insurance)
and Darussalam Holdings Sendirian Berhad (Haj/Umrah Services, Travel Agent)
where both of which TAIB has a 100% shareholding.

TAIB’s logo symbolizes
tranquility, entwined to unity and strength of the Muslim (Ummah). Logo's
colour of gold means gold of high quality that does not diminish,
symbolizing wealth and prosperity. Green means the Islamic Faith and
prosperity. |
